This is a self build kit.  You need a Lathe and a Mill to complete this kit.   This package includes the plans only - no barstock or machined parts are included.

Simple is beautiful. With only 8 machined parts, The Liney-1 is the picture of simplicity. The clean lines and polished brass contrasted with aluminum and mounted on it's walnut base make this a beautiful display piece. But that would almost be a shame. The solid construction, ball bearings, and heavy brass flywheel make this a solid and powerful engine just waiting to be the power supply for a fun project. The bore is .25" with a half inch stroke and the flywheel measures 2.00" in diameter.

Building it:

This is a great beginners project. However, for the more experienced machinists, the Liney-1 has lots of room for creativity! Owners of CNC equipment are unlimited in the variations of frame and flywheel shapes. Take your time and have some fun with this one!
